In the opening match of the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Karachi Kings defeated Quetta Gladiators by 7 wickets to successfully defend their title in the tournament. In the match being played in Karachi, Karachi Kings started chasing the target when Sharjeel Khan hit a four on the first ball of the innings but he was declared LBW on the fourth ball of the same over by Muhammad Hussnain.
